Archaeologist Liana Souvalidis discovered an ancient royal burial complex in the Egyptian oasis of Siwa.
The inscriptions were made by Ptolemy Lagus in Greek. This is the closest friend and ally of Alexander the Great. He buried Alexander in the designated place, and a pseudo-tomb was made in Alexandria for worship.
The only pity is that Egyptian officials terminated the contract and prohibited any work on the site. Egyptian scientists simply ignored the inscriptions they found.
